Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

Toomey Skyway Leasing Ltd provides wheelchair accessible vehicles and minibuses on contract hire to care homes, care groups, local authorities, schools, community transport providers and charities nationwide.

We work closely with the UK’s foremost vehicle converters to ensure every vehicle is purpose-built to the highest standards.

After more than twenty five years of successful trading we enjoy long-established access to competitive finance which enables us to offer our customers attractive rentals with low initial payments if required.


 
 
Vehicles

We are able to supply vehicles of all sizes on contract hire, whether a smaller vehicle with 1 wheelchair position, something larger to take up to 4 wheelchair positions or a fully coach-built vehicle to accommodate larger numbers.

If you are not sure what you need, contact us and let us know what your seating requirements are – we will then provide you with quotations for vehicles which meet your needs.

We are usually able to arrange for a demonstration vehicle to be brought to you with a representative from the converting company so that all aspects of the vehicle can be discussed with the vehicle present.

Maintenance

We offer a market-leading comprehensive maintenance package which covers all aspects of the conversion including ramp or tail lift, pulley, steps, belts, tracking and auxiliary electrics, in adition to the base vehicle.

For vehicles fitted with a tail lift we provide a six-monthly service reminder to assist our customers in maintaining the service record of the tail lift in accordance with current legislation – a legal requirement as well as an essential tool in ensuring the tail lift provides reliable service for the duration of the contract.
